The Soul Collector, written by Michael Paul Lavigna ІІ, follows a 16 year-old boy named Richard Spadafore as his family moves from Little Italy Cleveland Ohio to a small farming town in Northern California. Once moved, he begins to have nightmares about a shadow faced man in a black cloak who is murdering kids in a horror movie like basement. Initially thinking that they are nothing more than dreams, his view quickly changes upon seeing the victims in the town’s newspaper under the missing section. The connection between Richard’s dreams and the missing children is linked by a beautiful blond girl from Spanish class. His crush leads him to the discovery that demonic monsters actually exist and to the secret world of demon hunters.

I haven't been this enthusiastic over a book since Harry Potter. It's a fantastic read and the story is so engaging that my hands were unable to put the book down. The story transitions very nicely and I was always very excited about the twists and turns. I recommend this book to all readers and you won't regret the adventure it will take you on. (Please make a book 2 asap!)
I had heard about this book from a friend and figured I would give it a try. I Loved It! I was hooked after reading the first chapter and loved the excitement and originality of the story. I am very excited to read the rest of the series and will be purchasing those as well. This is an up and coming writer and he knows how to tell a good story.
For such a young author he has the making of another great novelist. The book moves very well and keeps you wanting to get on to the next page. I feel a little upset that the next book is not out to see what happens with Angela. Richard Spadafore is quite a mysterious character. A must read, so download for it is a quick read and will leave you wanting to read Book II.
This is very good book by an up and coming writer. The book has a good flow to it so that the reader dosen't get bored. It is fresh and creative. It has a little bit of everything which includes, fantasy, horror, adventure, romance, and good humor seen in the characters. This book will esspecially be appealing to anyone who likes demon's, as it is the start of a demon/demon hunting book series. I'm very excited to see where the main character, Richard Spadafore, goes in the sequel. Anyone who wants to try something new its only .99 cents, so I recomend giving this book a try.
I am amazed that this exciting, spellbinding, and accomplished book is, a first novel. It is wonderfully written and leaves you wanting more. While reading,you go through a host of emotions from excitement to being actually scared to the point that you just have to continue reading into the night. I cannot wait to continue the adventure with book 2!
Great book! Excellent narrative with great pacing and overall storyline.. Can't wait to see where the author takes the characters in book two. Couldn't put it down until it was finished. If you like books, you owe it to yourself to read this.
This is a great book, especially for the price. I would definitely recommend immersing yourself into this novel. Give a young author a shot for 99cents and you will not be displeased, and will be awaiting book 2! But no really... book 2 would be nice right about now...
